By Richard Black Scientists with the European Space Agency (Esa) say the day when flowers bloom on the Moon has come closer. An Esa-linked team has shown that marigolds can grow in crushed rock very like the lunar surface, with no need for plant food.

Hello group! I joined this group of necessity. My dream is focused for now on recovering or extending the habitability of Earth by solving its energy gain/loss problems in a practical, existing and near-technology manner without reducing the scope or scale of human civilization. I am convinced that to accomplish this will require a large, autonomous, cooperative and peaceful space presence on the moon and perhaps as envisioned by Dr. Gerard K.
