SpaceDancing on Mars

My family went to NASA and sent this link. You, too, can dance on Mars!

The Mars Exploration Program - Biosphere2 was aiming for this type of information 20 years ago, with the insight that humanity might need to leave Earth in a biospheric vessel and pioneer Mars, in order to survive. So much time lost through politics, greed and disregard for the importance of space research.

Its all the same business Carole. we use a broadband mobile satellite link to monitor mobile earthmoving machines anywhere on the surface of the planet. Not only the machines, but also the drivers - so for example the control centre operator in Holland knows that a driver in, for example Peru or Borneo is experiencing stress almost before the driver knows himself (or herself - in Canada and Australia especially a quarter of the drivers of the big 1000 ton mining trucks are women - they are more gently with the equipment than men). We are financially and technically supported by the European Space Agency's business incubator in Holland - EstrellaSat is my own startup business - and the driver monitoring system we use is the same as the one ESA uses to monitor astronauts on the International Space Station.

Hi Carole...The July show went quite well. All of the interviews and panels were a success. Dr. David Livingston had the best down-to-earth advice for current and future space entrepreneurs that I've ever heard. You can access the show by using the link at www.aviationandspacetv.com .
How did your show in Canada go? Let me know when you get a chance.
Cheers from the Alamo...Dave

Hi Carole, nice to get your response. We are just getting started over here in Holland, with support from the European Space Agency, although the original business idea and some of the technology is from Australia, where I come from. Our business is an interesting mix of satellite technology and the mining business, especially the giant mining trucks that we will monitor at minesites around the world. Nice contrast!! Anyway, cheers from Holland, Jean
