Inspiration for 'Bose–Einstein condensate' Technology

1. 'Bose–Einstein condensate' may be implemented as a protective shield against all forms of external radiation for long term space travel. 2. Could a 'Bose–Einstein condensate' component be engineered and attached to the Large Hadron Collider that may allow us to observe a Black Hole just prior to its' dissipation? A side effect of the LHC may generate tiny Black Holes incidentally that dissipate instantly. If condensate can momentarily stop a laser beam - that may be long enough to gather som… Continue

Virtual Reality & The Asteroid Belt

Just as oil was there hidden beneath the ground, and discovering uses for it led to the industrial age, transportation, and space-flight - I perceive that our Asteroid belt is there for the mining. Phase 1 Build a network of miniature gain relay satellites that will boost signal gain from a distance of our asteroid belt and back. Phase 2 Implement video game technology and augmented reality in a Virtual Command Room to manipulate small exploration robotic units on duty in the Asteroid Belt. Continue

Probability Factor and Science Fiction

Around May 2007, Dr. Chris Stanley discovered a new mineral. After researching the formula (the mineral had a known chemical formula - sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide), it turns out that this mineral had already been described in Superman comic books and movies. The formula is an exact match for 'Kryptonite,' the fictional mineral. Kryptonite, according to DC Comics, was created when the planet Krypton blew up. The new mineral does not contain fluorine (which it does in the film) and is… Continue

Future Spacecraft Design - Component - Electron Engine

One component entry for our Concept Spacecraft Design, is a design for a new Electron Engine (based upon positive electrons being attracted to a negative electron field). I will post the concept sketch here soon. Continue

Future Spacecraft Design - Life Support - Human Particle Stasis

Our future spaceship must be robust and resilient enough to function for many years space-time. In this post, our goal is to to improve the living-space components for long space-travel. The design for this component should keep occupants in living but idle (not frozen) stasis, allowing for re-animation to regain physical and mental cognition. The Cyrogenic option is not preferable due to artifacting and degeneration of living tissue, plus potential changes in the vitality of the partic… Continue

Future Spacecraft Design

The focus of this blog, is to lure in participants (yes - you!), choose a Component from the outline below (or add in a new one) and conceptualize about it. Selected spacecraft components may include: * Virtual World Environment for Future Astronauts to enjoy while the body is in stasis. * A new spacecraft design * Electron Engines * Renewable Energy and Stored Energy Core * Terrarium Gardens * OS Upgrade System with Deployable Signal-gain Waypoint Satellite Relays * Robotic Deployment System… Continue

Introduction

My name is Daniel. I was the kid who collected Red Rose Tea Space cards, and ate Space Food Sticks. I grew up building rockets and launching them, then worked in Special FX for a decade. I also worked on the award winning Descent series of PC games, along with several other published titles. Recent 3D animation work includes a glimpse of 3d animation contributions for Boeing. I'm passionate about the Aerospace Industry. (Portfolio:… Continue
